Energy and water efficiency
Everyday Kellogg looks for opportunities to improve the efficiency of our processes. Optimising the energy and water that is consumed during the manufacturing of our products benefits both the environment and the communities in which we operate. Kellogg is working closely with both federal and state government to capture and report energy and water consumption. By progressively developing our knowledge of consumption and usage patterns Kellogg is able to identify opportunities for reduction in consumption and improvements in efficiency.

Energy Efficiency Opportunities Program
The Energy Efficiency Opportunities Program (EEOP) is administered by the Commonwealth Department of Resources, Energy & Tourism and encourages large energy using businesses to improve their energy efficiency. It requires businesses to identify, evaluate and publicly report on cost effective energy savings opportunities. As a registered participant of the EEOP, Kellogg has been actively working to assess our manufacturing processes for opportunities to improve energy efficiency.
