REFORMULATED FOR A HEALTHIER AUSTRALIA - REDUCING SUGAR IN ONE OF AUSTRALIA'S MOST ICONIC CEREALS
Did you know that the Kellanova’ Botany plant is the only place in the world that is equipped to make Nutri-Grain?
An iconic Aussie cereal made from oats, corn, and wheat, Nutri-Grain has been known for fuelling good mornings for more than 50 years and was one of the first protein cereals on the market—long before protein became a trend.
For more than a decade, Kellanova has been improving the nutritional profile of our portfolio, with Nutri-Grain leading the way.
Nutri-Grain's reformulation story was featured as part of the 2025 Sustaining Australia film series by the Australian Food and Grocery Council.
Featuring Kellanova R&D team members as well as Karen Krist, Director of Nutrition Policy at the Department of Health and Aged Care, who spoke about Kellanova’s membership with the Healthy Food Partnership – a voluntary program that sets sugar, salt, and saturated fat reduction targets for manufacturers.
This film featured at the 2025 Food and Grocery Australia Conference.
