All-Bran® Trail Mix
Looking for an afternoon snack that is a great combination of crunch and fruit? Look no further than the All-Bran Trail Mix. Containing the iconic All-Bran Original cereal and mixed with roasted almonds and raisins, this trail mix will become a staple mid-day snack.
- 1/2 cup Kellogg's® All-Bran® Original
- 1 tablespoon dried pitted dates
- One large handful of raisins
- 1 teaspoon salted cashew nuts
- 1 teaspoon roasted almonds
1. To create the trail mix, add in half the All-Bran Original cereal to a small bowl or reusable cup or container.
2. Take the pitted dates and cut in half into smaller pieces. Add to the trail mix.
3. Repeat above step using the raisins and add to bowl.
4. Prepare the salted cashews by chopping in half. Add into the trail mixture.
5. Repeat the above step using the almonds.
6. Once added, shake the bowl so that the All-Bran Original, nuts and dried fruits are all combined.
7. Take the leftover All-Bran Original, and raisins and sprinkle on top of the trail mix to serve.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS: We like the extra level of crunch in this trail mix however, extra fruit can be added to this recipe including apples or berries. For an extra something, you could try this dish with an added dollop of coconut yoghurt.
