PROTECTING OUR RURAL AND REGIONAL COMMUNITIES
Combatting global hunger and feeding people who need it most, is at the heart of what we do. From droughts to bushfires to a global pandemic, the last couple of years has impacted everyone, and the hardest hit have been our remote regional and rural communities with almost a quarter experiencing food insecurity. It is a huge issue, and we know we can’t address it alone. This is why the Kellogg Australia Charitable Foundation (KACF) is thrilled to partner with the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) to help tackle hunger and build resilience in these vulnerable communities throughout the country.
Over the course of the three-year partnership, KACF will donate $300,000 to support grants for low socioeconomic regions in need, and disadvantaged communities facing high levels of food insecurity. Together, we will ensure we support these communities at a grassroots level by implementing innovative, locally led solutions, and continue to work towards our overarching mission - to improve lives and the planet we share.
